Hot Work, oftewel brandgevaarlijke werkzaamheden zijn werkzaamheden tijdens welke vonken kunnen ontstaan of open vuur of een andere hittebron wordt gebruikt die brandgevaarlijk is.
Tot brandgevaarlijk werk behoort o.a. lassen, gas en elektrisch, werk met een gasbrander, thermisch snijden, slijpen.
In Zweden, Finland, Noorwegen en Denemarken is de vereiste tot het bezit van de Hot Work-kaart van kracht om dergelijke werkzaamheden uit te kunnen voeren.
Hot Work-certificaat
De Hot work licence (Tulityökortti/Heta Arbeten) wordt afgegeven als plastic kaart met het logo van het exameninstituut en een geldigheid van 5 jaar. Het certificaat heet in het Pools Veiligheid van vuurwerkzaamheden.
De Hot Work-kaart is vereist tijdens werk met vuur in Zweden, Finland, Noorwegen en Denemarken.
Scandinavische ondernemingen eisen van hun werknemers en toeleveranciers het bezit van een Arbeidsveiligheidskaart. Dit betreft tevens Poolse bedrijven die contracten of projecten realiseren in Scandinavië.

Hot Work Licence
De Hot Work-cursus behandelt kwesties over het managementsysteem van veiligheid, gezondheid en milieu op bedrijfsterreinen aan de hand van de normen die gelden in Scandinavië. Finland, Zweden, Noorwegen, Denemarken.
De Hot Work licence is bedoeld voor zowel teamleiders als lijnmedewerkers.
1-daagse cursus wordt afgesloten met een theoretisch en praktisch examen, beschikbaar in het Pools of Engels.
Veiligheidsmiddelen: werkverloop, apparatuur en gereedschap, flessen bedienen
Handelen in gevaarlijke situaties
Tijdsduur
Lokaal gegeven in het Pools of Engels, tijdsduur: 1 dag van 8 uur (met koffie- en lunchpauzes).
Doel
Het door werknemers/toeleveranciers leren kennen van de regels m.b.t. functies met verhoogd risico en het versterken van hun bewustzijn op het gebied van arbeidsveiligheid.

Maximaal 60 minuten

Theoretisch gedeelte en praktische oefeningen blussen open vuur
Voorwaarden deelname examen
Identiteitsbewijs (identiteitskaart, paspoort, 18 jaar of ouder)
